Community Guidelines

Cliqit exists to help people plan things with their friends and actually show up. To keep that experience safe and positive for everyone, we ask every member to follow these guidelines. They apply to all content you create, including plan names, descriptions, poll options, usernames, and profile information.

Use Cliqit to make real plans with real friends.

• Do not create fake or misleading plans intended to deceive attendees.
• Do not impersonate another person or create accounts under false identities.
• Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or blocks.

Cliqit is for everyone. Do not create plans or content that is:

• Sexually explicit — nudity, pornography, or sexual content of any kind.
• Violent or graphic — gore, self-harm, or content that glorifies violence.
• Dangerous — content that encourages illegal activity or physical harm to yourself or others.
• Targeted at minors — any content that exploits or endangers children.

• Do not harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Do not share another person’s private information without their consent (doxxing).
• Do not use hate speech — content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
• Do not use offensive or profane usernames or plan names.
• Do not spam other users with unwanted plan invitations.

• Do not use automated tools or bots to interact with the app.
• Do not mass-invite people you don’t know to plans.
• Do not use Cliqit for commercial solicitation, advertising, or promotion without our permission.
• Do not abuse the location sharing feature to track others without their knowledge or consent.

Live ETA is a trust-based feature. Use it respectfully:

• Only share your ETA for plans you genuinely intend to attend.
• Respect that others’ location data is shared in confidence with fellow attendees.
• Do not screenshot, record, or redistribute another person’s live location outside of the app.

If you see content that violates these guidelines, go to Settings → Contact Support to report it. We review all reports and take action which may include content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity.

Repeated or severe violations — especially anything involving minors, hate speech, harassment, or location abuse — will result in immediate permanent removal.
